I am 10 months. I can crawl as fast as a puppy. I can stand and cruise around while holding onto things. I am even starting to let go turn and grab on to something else. Although my favorite time to practice standing without hands are when I am standing on my parents bed... or in the TUB. Hah, I like the reaction from Mom. I like to exercise my voice by screaming like a hawk. I just like to be heard. I steal things from my brothers often. I slobber... currently I have 5 teeth, but I think I will soon have some more. I really like to eat what everyone else is having. I like the variety better then mushy baby food. Sippy cups are pretty fun to drink out of... although I'd rather have the cups my Mom gives my brother's. I like to catch those two off guard. My moods change often... Sad, happy, cry! It keeps my Mom on her toes. I still rather not go the whole night without a bottle... around 1 am ish is a good time for me. Hey, I have needs alright. I like MILK! ok, geez. Get over it already Mom. PS climbing the stairs is AWESOME!

What being a Mom means to me..
Today has been a crazy day. Filled with the stress that comes with being a Mom of 3, caring for a household, and working part time with my children present in the office. Kids were fussing because it was naptime and I was nearly done with my work... I failed to print two copies of the invoices I just had done and had already closed out the computer. Frustrated... Because it would take much longer to restart the computer, then it would to just copy them on the scanner, one by one. ( I had already stapled each invoice to their order.) Grr. Jaxon is screaming because I had forgot his bottle and he was refusing his cup. Lukas was constantly at my feet, and just not helping... Finally done!! And then I could not get the lock to open. Our office door has been acting up and occasionally I cannot get it to unlock from the inside. I also remembered I don't even have my key to lock up! (Jaxon is still screaming.) I call Derek and he comes to my rescue.
I get home change the boys, fill Lukas's sippy cup, and get Lukas in bed. Then just as I start to feed my sad, oh so very tired baby, I then realized I have to pee.
Neglect of ones self is VERY common with motherhood. So here's my list.... the good and the "FUN"
*getting so caught up with the duties of the day that you don't realized you have to pee until you are forced to stop and sit down a moment.
*getting dressed for me is not a common thing these days unless I know I'm going somewhere, and people I know will see me. (I'm mean really just another thing to do)
*wearing my glasses more often then my contacts that my eyes now scream at me when I've worn them too long on the days I do.
*going sometimes until lunch time and then thinking... oh yeah, i didn't eat breakfast.
*bathing the kids and then being too tired to bath myself.
*haha, being kissed many times during the day by 4 handsome boys!
*hearing the word Mommy more times than i can count
*never being 100% clean... get out the shower.... 2 minutes later... spit up, boogers, or dirty hands.
*laughing so hard until I cry over silly little boy comments
*watching cartoons
*diapers
*stop fighting please
*give me a hug please.... so I don't cry
* falling asleep in rocking chairs
*not brushing my hair until after lunch
*looking at pictures from baby 1 and on.... and all they are, are of the kids..... Where are mommy or daddy? behind the camera
*catching throw up (much easier to clean up then when you let it get to the floor)
*kids wanting to cuddle
*drawings of love to Mom
*being their ONE they want.... the one that makes them feel better
*feeling like playing hide and go seek and not telling them
*wishing they were grown up already
*feeling like they were born yesterday
* wanting them to stay your baby forever
*have your worst fear be losing or harm coming to them
*proud to be their mom, then some days wondering how i can be better
*wanting to remember every moment, then being too tired to document it, or too busy
*then days when you can't believe how bad your memory has gotten
There are many more.... I might write some more later... Sorry this is so raw... too tired to edit
Kids are napping and I think I'll try to do that too
Being a Mom is the hardest yet best thing ever. I love you Deven, Lukas, Jaxon, and any other baby if we are blessed with more. I'm tired most of the time, but your smiles, hugs, and kisses keep me going. Thanks for listening to a mother's random thoughts.

Happy Easter
This easter was fun. Although getting pictures of the kids together was difficult. So here's what I got. (The ties the boys are wearing are all made by ME!)
Easter morning we had breakfast with Derek's family. I made waffles from scratch, cinnamon syrup, strawberries with fruit dip, and bacon! Yum, Yum! After breakfast we had a Easter Egg Hunt with the kids and Derek's nephews. Later on in the day we visited my family at my sister Shari's house. I love holiday's. They are days devoted to family.

We Won!
Jaxon and I hit the jackpot! No, I didn't take my baby to a casino. I was playing online and came across a very talented photographer's blog here in town. She was holding a contest, a free session, and picture for newborn to 12 months. Worth a try! All I had to do was add a comment about our kids. And we won. Last Saturday was our session. Check out our preview! And the rest of her site. Awesome!
