Deven's First Day of School!

He was so excited!

Lukas wanted to go too!

He just wanted to go and play.. not take pictures!

Deven sitting at his desk.

I was good. No tears, from either of us.... Except now I guess he cries quite a bit. Not because he misses us... Just because I have a rather sensitive boy. To put it bluntly.... he's a cry baby. We are working really hard to remedy this. I am very afraid he is going to be teased. At one point I asked him if any other kids cry in class. Yeah, NO! No other kids do. AGH! It's sweet at time but not when... He's upset because he didn't finish his puppet and neither did half the class, his teacher is trying to explain to him... He's is just so sad because he wants to finish it NOW. Oh, well... He loves school. And his teacher Mrs. D! PS I have a cute kid but I am already getting really bored with these uniforms!

Jaxon Joseph Ritchie

So after much debate.... We had narrowed down the names to  Jaxon, Wesley, or Kaleb. By the time we got to the hospital I had thrown out Kaleb, but I was still not sure which I liked best. Wesley is my Great Grandpa's middle name. I really liked it. And thought it was kinda neat that my mom had considered the name for a few of my brother's. Also, I really like the movie the Princess Bride! haha! I know I am cheesy. Derek was leaving it up to me to decide and it was starting to stress me out. I really liked both and I thought that both seemed to fit him well. After a little hormone break down I pleaded with Derek to just pick one. He picked Jaxon because he said he has liked it longer. (It was a name we had considered naming Lukas.) So right as we were being discharged I wrote down his first name... Jaxon! Jaxon Joseph Ritchie. We like to have the middle names to be a family name. Joseph is my Mother's father's name.

ALMOST DONE!!

My last week!

My due date is June 27, but if the baby does not come by the 23rd we will be going to the hospital that day to be induced. Yea! I am excited to meet this little guy. Sorry still no name... Derek's names... Lincoln, Calvin, Franklin, Donald or Nelson. Maybe Wessley or Kaleb. I like Korbin, Jett, Maverek, or maybe Wessley or Kaleb. We will see. Wessley is my great grandpa's middle name. William Wessley Bott.

Memorial Day at Mini Grand Prix

The first time around the track Deven was a little timid. The second time he was passing all the kids and even ran a kid into the wall. Cute but NOT nice.

Watch out for these kids!

Love this picture!

Deven and his too cool to take a picture with Mom face.

He's ready to race.

Drivers start your engines.
